Being productive

About the hotel's number of guests and me being productive when there is not that much guests.
The hotel has only 3 restaurants which has 200 maximum seating capacities. The hotel during the weekdays doesn’t have so much reservations but the workloads are still the same because we need to prepare the food for the Sunday’s brunch buffet which is a weekly tradition in the hotel. This was a challenge for me because this is where our thinking can be measured if are we going to be productive or just relax because there is not that much guests anyway. Personally, I hate doing nothing especially during work hours because when I am working in a restaurant, I always imagine the feeling of an owner having an employee getting paid doing nothing. For me as an aspiring restaurant owner, I want to be an example of myself that when I open up a restaurant soon, I know how to make use of the time even though there is not that much guests.
